Ingredients

  • Baked squash topped with sweet apples, pears, raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon
  • Instruments
  • 1 medium squash (Acorn or Hubbard), cut into quarters (remove seeds)
  • 2 tsp butter, divided
  • 1 pear, peeled cored and diced
  • 1 apple, peeled cored and diced
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch or two ground nutmeg
