Ingredients

  • 3 2/3 c. Flour, Use part whole Wheat
  • 2 Tbsp. Poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Onion pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/3 c. Sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/3 c. Oil
  • 1 x Egg, Slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Skimmed lowfat milk Very herbs & seasoning to suit taste

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl; add in poppy seed. Combine oil, egg and lowfat milk and stir into flour mix, mixing well. Cover dough and let rest for 30 min. Sprinkle 3-4 baking sheets with sesame seed. Divide dough and roll each portion very thin, as fopr pie crust, rolling again after it is on pans and patting with floured hands to get it thinner. Score with a knife for breading into pcs after baking. Bake at 375i for 20-25 min till slightly browned and crisp. Cold, break into pcs. Vary herbs and seasonings to suit taste.
