Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms Recipe

  • 1 lb mushrooms cleaned, and stems removed
  • 3 Tbsp. reduced-calorie stick margarine melted
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt Cooking spray as needed
  • 1/8 c. grated Parmesan cheese Paprika to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler. Place cleaned mushrooms in a bowl. Combine margarine and garlic salt, then drizzle over mushrooms. Gently toss mushrooms to coat.
  2. Spray a 9- by 13-inch baking sheet with sides (or possibly a 9- by 13-inch pan) with cooking spray. Place mushrooms on baking sheet, stem-side up. Sprinkle with cheese then lightly with paprika.
  3. Broil 5 inches from heat source (crack oven door) for 5 min or possibly till cheese is slightly melted. Serve immediately.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
  5. Serving size: 4 mushrooms.
