  • 3/4 c. water

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large pot, bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 50 to 60 min, stirring occasionally.
  2. This recipe yields 4 servings.
  3. Comments: Adjust the cooking time to get the texture you like - for chunky applesauce, cook it less, for smooth applesauce, cook it more. And if your apples aren't really juicy, you may need to add in a bit more water during the simmering to prevent scorching.
