  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 1/2 c. Mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Cream
  • 1/2 c. Chicken bouillon
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp White pepper
  • 1/2 c. Picante sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Blackened fish seasoning

Directions

  1. 1) Heat one TBS. butter in a pan and saute/fry mushrooms, set aside 2. In a medium sauce pan heat two TBS. of butter and stir in the flour till dissolved 3. Add in chicken stock, cream, garlic and pepper, stir ring constantly cook till sauce thickens. Don't boil. 4. Once thickened reduce heat, cover, and cook 2 more min 5. Add in picante sauce, blackening seasoning, and sauteed mushrooms, heat through 6. Hold hot till ready to serve 7. Serve over grilled or possibly broiled fish
