Normally I don't use pilsbury dough for anything, but these are divine. These succulent dumplings will please everyone and can be served room temperature or cold but are even better hot with ice cream or whipped cream.... or both!

  • 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • Cinnamon to Taste
  • 1 Can Mountain Dew
  • 1 tsp Vanilla (real not imitation)

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350
  2. Butter a 9 x 13" pan or spray with butter flavored pam
  3. Wrap each apple slice in a cresent roll and place in pan
  4. Once they are all wrapped and in the pan, make the sauce
  5. Melt the butter in a pan on the stove
  6. add the vanilla
  7. add the 1 1/2 C of Sugar
  8. Stir it lightly (it won't look mixed but that is fine)
  9. Pour over the rolled up apple stuffed cresents
  10. Open the mountain dew and pour it all over the sides and down the middle (sometimes I don't use the whole can, just most of it)
  11. Sprinkle the dumplings with cinnamon to taste
  12. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes until golden and puffy
