Ingredients
- 1 pound dried bean mix
- 1 onion ,chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 tablespoon low sodium chicken bouillon granules
- 1 can (15 ounce size) low sodium tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cups water
Directions
- Soak and drain beans. In a large saucepan or Dutch oven combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer tender, about 1 1/2 hours
