If you have ten minutes then this tuna meal is perfect for you.
Ingredients
- 1 tuna steak
- 1 star anise
- 1 teaspoon pink peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2cm fresh root ginger, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ramen noodles
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
Directions
- in a pestle and mortar grind up the star anise, peppercorns, cloves and fennel
- add the ginger and the olive oil and mix into a paste
- coat the tuna with the paste
- boil the water for the noodles and heat the pan for the tuna
- put the noodles into the water and after they have been boiling for 2 minutes, sear the tuna for a minute per side
- drain the noodles, cover with the soya sauce and slice the tuna and place on top
