About me

With a love for cooking & "eating" Lisa Montalva became "The Gourmet Mom". In 1994 I found myself getting divorced with two small children. I always had this creative side & started creating 30 minute Microwave meals, but being a single mom that had to wait, but knew one day when my girls got older that I would venture back to writing a book and hopefully one day have my own show. In 2006, I left my career & started with a new plan. I found a publisher and my first book was born. The Gourmet Mom is filled with free recipes, pictures and information. I am working on several new & we will continue to bring you delicious recipes daily.
