- June 3, 2010Hi Linda!
I just joined your group, today, Wed. June 2nd 2010..And, I just today received my NuWave oven.... And, so far I am planning on making a Taco Pie for dinner tomorrow...Am VERY excited to learn of this group! I hope to learn a lot from everyone here...and hopefullyget a lot out of this NuWave oven! Smiles, PJ - December 14, 2009I tried my Nuwave for the 1st time Saturday. Each week at the Marina we take turns cooking up something for the group. I decided to test run my um um "Skills" out on my fiends by making a quiche in the Nuwave. I must give Patty Prince a big thank you for a couple of tips she gave me.
Basically you just whip up whatever quiche mixture you like.
Take a frozen pie crust and pop in in the Nuwave for 7 minutes on high (use the 1" rack)
Remove crust and let cool.
Next, add mixture to crust, cover with foil and NuWave for 20 minutes on High.
Stop Nuwave, remove tin foil and set timer for 10 minutes which will finish the cooking while browning the top nicely.
John - July 8, 2009Hi Linda...thanks for joining! I don't have a nuwave oven, but I'll keep a lookout for good recipes for them. Hope you'll enjoy the recipes here and post a few of your favorites!
