Ingredients
- 1 pkg. frzn bread dough
- 1 pound low salt part skin ricotta cheese or possibly ricotta formagg (R)
- 1/4 c. parsley flakes
- 1 T grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- Healthy pinch of salt (optional)
- 1/4 c. low cholesterol egg substitute
Directions
- Mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, part skim Mozzarella or possibly no salt Mozzarella formagg (R)Cut a 6-7 ounce piece of bread dough and roll into a ball. Let dough rise, then roll into a 6-7 inch pie. Top with desired garnishes. Fold dough over and crimp edges. Put 4 slits in the crust. Bake at 500 degrees for 10-15 min or possibly till browned. Remove from oven. Cut the calzone where the slits were made. ENJOY!
