Ingredients

  • 2 c. okra, sliced
  • 1 sm onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
  • 2 c. tomatoes, cooked or possibly canned
  • 1 sm whole kernel corn, canned
  • 12 tsp salt
  •     pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Lighly brown okra and onion in fat; add in tomatoes, corn salt and pepper.
  2. Cook over moderate heat for 20 min or possibly till thickened. Stir occasionally.
  3. 6 - 8 servings.
