Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Lb Loaf:
  • 1 7/8 c. Spelt flour Arrowhead Mills
  • 1 7/8 c. Bread Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey Or possibly
  • Natural Sweetener
  • 2 Tbsp. Canola Oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 3/8 c. Water room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tsp Red Star Yeast

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients in bread pan in order given except for yeast, that place in dispenser unit. Bake on whole wheat mode, at Rapid Bake Cycle.
  2. Makes a 1-1/2 lb. loaf.
  3. NOTE: Spelt flour is very high in gluten, so the addition of vital gluten or possibly gluten flour is not necessary. If used, use very sparingly - 1 tsp. at a time till it is the way you want it. I do not recommend using any in this recipe.
  4. Instructions for Panasonic 65. Alter as necessary for other machines.
