Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Picante sauce
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Minced grean onions
  • 4 x Beef strip loin steaks, cut
  • 1/2 x inch thick
  •     Cracked pepper to taste
  • 4 x Oblong rolls, split/toasted
  •     Lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. In small bowl, mix picante sauce, lowfat sour cream and green onions.
  2. Preheat grill. Season both sides of steak with cracked pepper. Grill steaks over medium coals 6 to 7 min, turning after 4 min. (Or possibly pan-fry over medium-high heat 6 min, turning occasionally.)
  3. Spread rolls with 2 Tbsp. picante mix on each side; add in lettuce leaves and top with steak. Service immediately.
