%20I%20made%20the%20mistake%20of%20not%20cooking%20it%20long%20enough.%20%20It%20turned%20into%20goo.%20%20I%20didn't%20want%20my%20husband%20to%20see%20it%20so%20when%20he%20pulled%20in%20the%20driveway,%20I%20quickly%20ran%20to%20the%20spare%20bedroom%20with%20it%20and%20put%20it%20on%20the%20top%20shelf%20of%20the%20closet.%20%20There%20it%20remained.%20%20Until%20we%20moved%20out%20of%20that%20house.%20%20I'm%20embarrassed%20to%20say%20that%20it%20was%20almost%20a%20year%20later%20that%20we%20moved.%20%20Needless%20to%20say,%20that%20by%20that%20%20time%20the%20fudge%20had%20definitely%20hardened!%20I%20can't%20believe%20it%20was%20still%20there%20and%20that%20we%20didn't%20have%20a%20rodent%20infested%20house%20because%20of%20that%20stupid%20move!%20%20However,%20what%20was%20even%20more%20embarrassing%20for%20me%20was%20that%20I%20was%20NOT%20the%20person%20who%20found%20the%20fudge.%20%20Egads!%20%20Oh%20thankfully%20I%20don't%20feel%20I%20have%20to%20hide%20my%20mistakes%20anymore%20and%20its%20a%20good%20thing%20because%20I%20make%20a%20LOT%20of%20them.%20%20;)%20%20Instead,%20people%20just%20think%20I'm%20ditzy.%20%20ha%20ha.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20is%20your%20most%20embarrassing%20food%20moment?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo,%20now%20that%20I've%20told%20you%20my%20most%20embarrassing%20food%20moment,%20I'm%20going%20to%20share%20with%20you%20my%20biggest%20fudge%20success%20in%20a%20long%20time.%20%20I%20think%20the%20reason%20I%20was%20so%20unsuccessful%20so%20many,%20many%20long%20years%20ago%20when%20I%20made%20the%20first%20batch%20of%20fudge,%20was%20because%20I%20was%20impatient.%20%20Yes,%20living%20with%20Grumpy%20as%20well%20as%20aging%20has%20certainly%20taught%20me%20tons%20of%20patience.%20%20However,%20I%20will%20admit,%20making%20this%20fudge,%20I%20was%20starting%20to%20get%20impatient%20because%20it%20was%20taking%20forever%20and%20then%20when%20it%20was%20time%20to%20beat%20the%20fudge%20silly,%20it%20tired%20me%20out.%20%20lol%20%20One%20comment%20I%20was%20making%20while%20beating%20the%20fudge%20to%20death%20was%20%22next%20time%20I%20get%20a%20craving%20for%20fudge,%20please%20remind%20me%20I%20live%20in%20the%20City%20now%20and%20can%20run%20to%20Gertrude%20Hawk%20or%20Shaker%20Shed%20if%20the%20desire%20for%20fudge%20becomes%20so%20strong%20again%22.%20%20(BTW%20Shaker%20Shed%20makes%20some%20awesome%20baked%20items%20as%20well%20as%20fudge%20and%20meals!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20is%20your%20biggest%20food%20success?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20is%20one%20person%20in%20this%20whole%20wide%20world%20that%20I%20would%20totally%20make%20this%20fudge%20for%20all%20over%20again%20though%20(and%20its%20very%20possible%20that%20I%20will%20VERY%20soon%20since%20there%20will%20be%20an%20easy%20way%20for%20me%20to%20get%20it%20to%20him)%20and%20that%20is%20my%20son%20Justin.%20I%20love%20that%20boy%20more%20than%20anything%20and%20that%20boy%20loves%20himself%20some%20Pumpkin%20Fudge%20-%20I'm%20pretty%20sure%20he%20loves%20his%20momma%20too.%20.%20%20I'm%20not%20sure%20if%20Kristina%20likes%20it%20or%20not,%20but%20I%20am%20thinking%20no,%20so%20I'll%20have%20to%20send%20her%20home%20a%20different%20treat%20(what%20do%20you%20think%20of%20Brownie%20Biscotti?%20%20I'm%20pretty%20sure%20your%20reading%20this!%20%20lol)%20%20Nothing%20says%20you%20love%20someone%20more%20than%20being%20willing%20to%20do%20something%20that%20is%20absolutely%20painful.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EProof%20of%20that%20to%20Grumpy%20was%20my%20willingness%20to%20scout%20in%20the%20woods%20with%20him%20this%20last%20weekend.%20OY!%20%20In%20reality,%20I%20did%20have%20fun.%20%20It%20is%20just%20that%20when%20it%20comes%20to%20hunting,%20I%20won't%20touch%20a%20gun.%20%20I%20don't%20really%20want%20to%20be%20there%20if%20and%20when%20his%20whole%20purpose%20comes%20to%20fruitation,%20but%20I%20love%20him,%20and%20we%20are%20alone%20here%20now,%20so%20I'm%20the%20next%20best%20thing%20to%20nothing.%20%20ha%20ha.%20%20Back%20on%20track%20here%20Shelby%20(see,%20I%20told%20you%20I%20could%20be%20ditzy!%20%20I%20get%20off%20topic%20way%20too%20easy).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20you%20do%20something%20you%20absolutely%20don't%20like%20to%20do%20for%20someone%20you%20love?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20not%20so%20much%20of%20a%20vanilla%20(or%20chocolate)%20chip%20and%20condensed%20fudge%20kinda%20of%20girl.%20%20I%20grew%20up%20with%20my%20Mom%20boiling%20fudge%20on%20Saturday%20night%20to%20go%20with%20our%20popcorn%20while%20they%20tortured%20us%20watching%20Lawrence%20Welk.%20%20The%20fudge%20and%20popcorn%20was%20the%20best%20part%20of%20those%20Saturday%20evenings!%20%20Since%20that%20is%20how%20I%20grew%20up%20knowing%20fudge,%20I%20can't%20seem%20to%20like%20the%20fudge%20that%20is%20made%20that%20way%20(at%20least%20when%20I%20make%20it).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo,%20if%20you%20are%20up%20to%20a%20challenge%20and%20have%20a%20lot%20of%20patience,%20or%20want%20to%20learn%20a%20lot%20of%20patience,%20definitely%20try%20this%20recipe.%20%20It%20is%20one%20of%20two%20recip
