Pork Knuckles Braised in Pineapple Recipe

One of my version/twist of the traditional Paksiw na pata. Using pineapple and pineapple juice as the alternate for vinegar. It tasted very good too!

Directions

  1. Boil the meat together with the garlic, onion, water, and pineapple juice. If you will use a pressure cooker, 10-15 mins is enough.
  2. Once the meat is tender, put in all the other ingredients, then season to taste.
  3. Add the canola oil once the meat is almost coming off its bones.
  4. Add the pineapple chunks, simmer for 2minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
