No bake crust with peanut butter cup pieces and a creamy peanut butter filling made on the stovetop.

Directions

  1. Prepare the pie crust with the chopped peanut butter cup pieces.
  2. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Over a medium heat, slowly stir in the evaporated milk.
  3. Stir constantly until thick and bubbly.
  4. Add 1/4 of the mixture, a few drops at a time, to the beaten eggs, then add this mixture to the evaporated milk mixture.
  5. Using a wire whisk, stir 3 minutes until thickened, remove from heat.
  6. Stir in peanut butter chips, peanut butter, and vanilla.
  7. Pour mixture into the pie shell, chill at least 4 hours, top with Cool Whip, or put dollops of Cool Whip on individual slices of the pie.

    I am not a very peanutbutterjunkie but I like the not too sweet ones. My sibling though, is a different story. They love it. This would 'WOW' them if i make it right! :D
