Ingredients
- Pasta - 50 grams / half cup (I used macaroni)
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Shredded Chicken / Chopped mushroom - 2 tablespoons
- Maida / A purpose flour - 1 tablespoon
- Milk - 150 ml
- Dried Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried Basil and Rosemary - 1/2 teaspoon
- Crushed peppercorns - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Oil - 1/2 teaspoon

.%20Now%20place%20on%20flame.%20Cook%20until%20the%20pasta%20turns%20soft,%20it%20might%20take%2015%20to%2020%20minutes,%20make%20sure%20that%20it%20is%20cooked%20thoroughly.%20Then%20remove%20from%20flame%20and%20drain%20water.%20(You%20can%20use%20the%20leftover%20water%20later%20so%20do%20not%20discard%20it)%20TIP:%20I%20always%20add%20cooked%20pasta%20directly%20to%20the%20white%20sauce%20without%20rinsing%20them%20in%20cold%20water,%20we%20are%20not%20making%20a%20salad%20now%20so%20it%20is%20not%20necessary%20to%20remove%20or%20rinse%20off%20any%20excess%20starch%20sticking%20to%20the%20pasta.%20Also%20tossing%20the%20pasta%20in%20oil%20or%20butter%20after%20cooking%20it%20is%20not%20really%20necessary%20too,%20it%20will%20make%20it%20non-sticky%20and%20obviously%20slippery%20making%20the%20sauce%20not%20stick%20to%20the%20pasta%20properly.%20But%20if%20you%20are%20going%20to%20take%20a%20long%20time%20to%20prepare%20the%20pasta%20sauce%20tossing%20it%20in%20a%20little%20butter%20or%20oil%20would%20be%20fine%20as%20your%20pasta%20won't%20dry%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20another%20pan%20on%20flame%20and%20add%20butter.%20Then%20add%20finely%20chopped%20garlic%20and%20saute.%20It%20should%20not%20change%20color.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20add%20shredded%20or%20chopped%20chicken%20pieces%20(boneless)%20and%20saute%20until%20it%20changes%20color%20and%20seems%20well%20cooked.%20If%20using%20mushrooms%20do%20not%20saute%20for%20long.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20add%20dry%20herbs,%20salt%20(oregano,%20basil%20and%20rosemary)%20and%20give%20a%20nice%20sir.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20add%20maida/flour%20and%20saute%20for%20a%20few%20seconds.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20pour%20milk%20into%20it%20and%20stir%20well%20so%20that%20the%20flour%20gets%20mixed%20up%20with%20the%20milk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECook%20on%20a%20low%20flame%20until%20it%20seems%20creamy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20add%20the%20cooked%20pasta%20into%20the%20prepared%20white%20sauce%20and%20stir%20quickly.%20Add%20a%20ladle%20full%20of%20water%20say%2050%20ml%20(or%20the%20leftover%20water%20we%20have%20from%20cooking%20pasta)%20and%20mix.%20Cook%20for%20a%20few%20seconds%20until%20the%20sauce%20thickens%20and%20adheres%20well%20with%20the%20pasta.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%20sure%20it%20does%20not%20thicken%20up%20too%20much.%20Remove%20from%20flame%20while%20it%20is%20still%20creamy.%20(If%20it%20thickens%20up%20add%20little%20water%20and%20adjust%20the%20consistency)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGarnish%20with%20crushed%20pepper,%20a%20pinch%20of%20herbs%20and%20serve%20hot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETIP:%20You%20can%20add%20wheat%20flour%20instead%20of%20all%20purpose%20flour.%20But%20see%20that%20you%20do%20not%20add%20too%20much%20flour%20while%20making%20the%20sauce%20as%20it%20will%20thicken%20too%20much.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
