  • 6 teaspoon tea
  • A couple sprigs mint
  • 1 quart. boiling water
  • Mint and lemon for garnishing
  • Juice of a large lemon
  • Sugar syrup to taste
  • Cracked ice

Directions

  1. Over tea and mint, pour boiling water. Let it steep 3-5 min. Strain; add in lemon juice and sweeten to taste with sugar syrup. Pour into tall glasses 2/3 full of cracked ice. Garnish with lemon slices and sprigs of mint.Sugar Syrup: Into a saucepan put 1 1/4 cups sugar and 3/4 cup water. Bring to boil, stirring till sugar is dissolved, and then boil 5 min. Cool and store in refrigerator, ready for use.
