Mason Jar Snowmen Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lrg , wide mouth Mason Jar Scrap materials fiberfill warm glue and gun button
  • 3/4 x " wood scroll saw twigs toothpick drill

Directions

  1. Cut a circle of fabric larger than the top of the jar so which when it's glued to edge, it forms a circle. Fabric should cover to bottom edge of lid. Take a small amount of fiberfill and warm glue to top of jar lid.
  2. Cover with fabric and glue fabric to side edge of jar lid. Using a coordinating print, tear a strip of fabric about the width of the side of the jar lid. Tie around jar lid into a bow. How glue button to front of the bow(on the know part). Using 3/4 " wood, cut out a simple snowman shape. Paint with white paint and add in black dot eyes, and dots down front for buttons. Tear a small piece of fabric and tie around neck for scarf. Drill two holes in sides of body to insert arms. Paint toothpick orange and glue to face for nose. Make arms from twigs and glue in place. Drill through the bottom of jar lid and anchor snowman in place to top of lid. Fill jar with popcorn, mints, etc..to give as gifts.
