Directions

  1. In saucepan combine unflavored gelatin, 1 cup sugar and salt.
  2. Beat egg yolks, lime juice, and water till blended.
  3. Stir into gelatin.
  4. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly just until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add grated lime peel. Chill stirring occassionally till mixture mounds when spooned.
  5. In bowl beat egg whites till soft peaks form. Gradually add 1 cup sugar, beat till stiff.
  6. Fold gelatin mixture into beaten egg whites.
  7. Add sour cream. Divide up between two graham cracker pie crusts and chill until set.
