Ingredients

  • 1 c cider vinegar
  • 2 t lightly crushed yellow mustard seeds
  • 1⁄2 c prepared tomato sauce
  • 1 1⁄2 c vegetable oil
  • 2 T hot sauce, or more to taste
  • 2 T worcestershire sauce
  • 1⁄2 t kosher salt
  • 1 t whole black peppercorns
  • 3 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1⁄4 c capers, drained and rinsed
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, stemmed, cored and sliced into slivers
  • 1 medium red onion, peeled halved and sliced into slivers
