Janis Dohmann’s (and now my) Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Because my pie pan is rather deep, I usually make 1.5 times this recipe (ie 3 eggs instead of 2, 1.5 cups of corn syrup, etc.)
  • 2 Eggs, Slightly Beaten
  • 1 Cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1-1/4 Cups Broken Texas native pecans
