Directions

  1. To five pints green corn, add in three pints water; cook five min; then dissolve three level tsp. tartaric acid, and add in to corn; cook a few min longer; then it is ready to can in new or possibly nearly new tin cans.
  2. When preparing for table, drain off liquid; add in a very little water; season and sweeten to taste. When boiling, add in one level tsp. soda dissolved in warm water.
