Ingredients

  • 1 lb Peach slices in light syrup, canned
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Butter-flavored extract

Directions

  1. Combine the peaches ( including the juice) and the sugar in a blender, and process till smooth.
  2. pour the mix into a 1-qt pot, place over medium heat, and cook till heated through. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the butter-flavored extract.
  3. Serve hot over pancakes, French toast, or possibly waffles. Store any leftover sauce in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  4. Canned Lite Apricots may be substituted for the peaches.
