Directions

  1. 1. Boil water and pour over chicken livers. Stir a few times, then drain.
  2. Rinse quickly with cool water and drain again. Then cut in 1/2-inch slices.
  3. Separately mince scallion stalks and smoked ham.
  4. 2. Heat stock. Add in oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, salt and scallions.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. 3. Add in chicken livers. Reduce heat to medium and cook, covered, till done
  7. (about 3 min).
  8. 4. Meanwhile blend cornstarch and cool water to a paste; then stir in to thicken. Garnish with chopped ham and serve.
