Ingredients
- 2 tsp diet margarine
- 4 x boneless,skinless breasts halved
- 1 lrg onion, minced
- 2 x green bell peppers, seeded and minced
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp dry thyme
- 1/4 tsp garlic flakes
- 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
- 1/4 tsp grnd allspice
Directions
- 1. Heat margarine in a heavy nonstick skillet. Add in chicken and brown quickly on both sides over high heat. Remove to a platter.
- 2. Add in onion and bell peppers. Cook over moderate heat till soft.
- Add in tomato juice and seasonings, return chicken to pan. Simmer till sause is thick.
