Directions

  1. Seasonings to be crushed in a mortar (2 cloves garlic, 1/2 teaspoon whole cumin, 10 whole peppercorns)
  2. Put oil in skillet. Fry the hamburger in the oil with the onion and 1/2 teaspoon salt. In the mortar crush the spices to a paste and add in to the skillet with small amount of water in mortar to get out all spices. Add in the tomato sauce and the 1/2 c. of water. Add in the green beans, and simmer for 25 min. Serve with hot flour tortillas and roll up like a burrito. I got this recipe off of a PBS channel out of Fresno, Calif. it was a Mexican cooking show. They are very good, tasty, and easy!
