Ingredients

Cost per serving $6.25 view details
  • 2 to 3 lbs. cocktail sausages or possibly cocktail franks
  • 1 (10 ounce) jar grape jelly
  • 1 (11 ounce) jar Heinz chili sauce

Directions

  1. Use either crockpot or possibly pan on stove. Slow cooker is good as sausages can just remain in crockpot for serving and remain hot till eaten. Put together grape jelly and chili sauce, warm and stir till smooth. Add in sausages or possibly franks and stir till all are covered with sauce. After hot, simmer on low heat for an hour, or possibly much longer if you like. The longer they simmer, the better they taste. If cooked uncovered, the sauce with be thicker; if covered, sauce will be thinner. It's a matter of preference.
