Ingredients

  • 24 x Graham cracker squares (2 1/2 inches each), approximately 2 c. minced
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 pkt (12 ounce) cold whip or possibly whipped topping (thawed)
  • 1 pkt (3/4 ounce) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 3 x Bananas
  • 1/3 c. Pecans

Directions

  1. (From the Pampered Chef)
  2. Coarsely chop graham crackers. Combine graham crackers, butter and sugar.
  3. Press into bottom and up sides of 9-inch Springform Pan. Combine whipped topping, pudding and lowfat sour cream in bowl. Pour half of filling over the crust. Slice bananas. Layer bananas on top. Pour remaining filling over bananas. Finely chop pecans and sprinkle over top. Sets immediately but can be refrigerated to chill.
  4. Yield 10 -12 servings.
  5. (This is a REALLY good dessert for unexpected company - quick and it looks and tastes like you spent alot of time in preparation)

Love this dessert....the first time I made it I didn't read the directions closely enough and I mixed the cool whip in with the pudding...so then I got another tub of cool whip and put on the top. That's how I always fix it now....it's just a little more creamy!!! I use a glass 9x13 pan and sprinkle sliced almonds on the top. Always one of the first dessert to be eaten, always TONS of compliments and it is very easy to make!!
    I've cooked/tasted this recipe!
    This is a variation
