These are so easy: I just use Krusteaz Pancake Mix from Costco (it's the kind you only have to add water to).
I would not have bothered to post this, but my step-son and his pals insisted, because, thanks to this favorite breakfast of theirs, they think I'm a genius, lol!...so here goes, with little or no effort.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Pancake mix
- 1 1/4 cups cold water
- 1 banana, chopped roughly
- handful of chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat griddle or frying pan, that has been prepared with non-stick cooking spray,on medium high heat, until droplets of water sizzle and pop when sprinkled on it.
- Combine pancake mix and water according to package directions, fold in a chopped up banana and the chocolate chips. Cook on one side until the little bubbles start to break, then turn and cook the other side until a nice golden brown.
- While these are so sweet (to me), they set my teeth on edge, the kids love these and love to pour the syrup on them.
