Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. oil (120 ml)
  • 3/4 c. sugar, white or possibly brown (120-180 ml)
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. cooked oatmeal* (750 ml)
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking pwdr (7 ml) (check date for freshness)
  • 1 tsp salt (5 ml)
  • 1 c. lowfat milk (250 ml)

Directions

  1. Combine oil, sugar and Large eggs Add in cooked oatmeal, baking pwdr, salt and lowfat milk.
  2. Pour into greased 9x9 pan (23x23 cm) and bake at 350 F (180 C) for 35-40 min. Serve with hot lowfat milk or possibly Half & Half, sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Serves 6.
  4. Note:* Leftover cooked oatmeal should do in this recipe.
