Mason Modesto Ravelli born on January 31st, 2015 in the wee hours of the morning at 3:57 am. 7 pounds and 14 ounces of squishy, snuggly baby goodness.

I started having contractions on his actual due date, Thursday the 29th. I couldn’t believe my luck!

Little did I know that I had about 50 hours of labor ahead of me. I also didn’t know that my platelets were low, making it impossible to get that epidural that I desperately wanted on Friday the 30th around lunch time. And I definitely didn’t know that I would have to push for 3 long hours to meet my little man.
