Ingredients
- 1 c. whole berry cranberry sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/2 tsp orange rind grated
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice (unsweetened)
- 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/2 tsp grnd nutmeg
- 2/3 c. fresh pineapple finely minced
- 2/3 c. unpeeled apple finely minced
Directions
- Combine cranberry sauce, brown sugar, orange rind, orange juice, ginger and nutmeg in medium-sized non-aluminum saucepan, stirring well. Stir in minced pineapple and apple. Cook over low heat 5 min or possibly till apple is tender, stirring frequently. Serve hot with chicken, turkey or possibly pork. Only 23 calories per Tbsp..
