Apricot Nut Bar Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ C. Butter
  • ½ C. Brown Sugar, packed hard
  • 1 C. Four, sifted
  • ¼ t. Soda
  • ½ t. Salt
  • 1 ½ C. Quick oats
  • 1 C. Apricot preserves
  • ¼ C. Chopped nuts
  • Whipped topping

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Sift flour, soda, salt together, and add into sugar mixture. Add oats and blend well. Press 2/3 of mixture over bottom of greased 8 x 8 pan. Combine preserves and nuts. Spread evenly over crumb mixture in pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/3 of crumb mixture on top of the filling.
  3. Cut into bars while warm. Serve with whipped topping.
