About me

My mother was a gourmet cook before gourmet existed. She grew up on a farm where there was always a garden, and meat was processed "at home". We lived in Pakistan when I was a child, and Mother insisted on fresh/safe foods. We had a full-time cook, but his (all of our servants were men) training period was long and arduous. This is the climate in which I found myself, and I have insisted on like practices in my lifestyle. If it contains "FAST" ingredients, I'm probably not interested.
