Slow Cooked Chinese Pork Roast

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 pound pork roast
  • 1/2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 c. dry sherry
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • 2 minced green onions
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients except pork roast.
  2. Place roast in oven-proof dish which just fits the roast. Cover with remaining mixed ingredients. Cover pan tightly.
  3. Bake at 300 degrees for 4 to 5 hrs.
