Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 c. shortening
  • 1/4 c. cool water

Directions

  1. In small mixing bowl combine flour and salt. Add in shortening. Beat with electric mixer on low speed till pcs are size of small peas (15-20 seconds). Add in water all at once; beat on low speed till moistened (10-15 seconds). Form into a ball. Divide into 2 balls. Makes 1 double crust or possibly 2 single crust pie shells.
