.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20guess%20a%20diabetic%20Christmas%20spirit%20got%20into%20me%20today;%20hence%20instead%20of%20baking%20small%20as%20I%20usually%20do,%20I%20baked%20a%20whole%20recipe%20of%20chocolate%20cookies.%20And%20holy%20sweet!%20Now%20I%20have%20two%20big%20jars%20of%20cookies%20sitting%20in%20my%20dining%20table.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGooey%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies%20with%20cinnamon%20sensation.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere's%20the%20recipe%20that%20I%20used%20for%20making%20my%20soft%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies.%20I%20modified%20it%20from%20here.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGooey%20Chocolate%20Chip%20Cookies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETutorial:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20170%20degree%20Celcius.%20I%20tried%20using%20the%20fan%20setting%20on%20my%20oven%20today.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESift%20together%20flour,%20corn%20starch,%20cinnamon%20powder%20and%20baking%20powder.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20mixing%20bowl,%20beat%20butter,%20vanilla%20extract%20and%20sugar%20until%20fluffy%20and%20pale%20using%20high%20speed%20electric%20mixer.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGradually%20add%20egg%20and%20egg%20yolks%20into%20the%20mixture%20and%20mix%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFold%20the%20dry%20ingredients%20onto%20the%20butter%20mixture%20by%20using%20spatula%20until%20everything%20is%20well%20incorporated.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20some%20chocolate%20chips%20or%20chopped%20cooking%20chocolates%20into%20the%20cookie%20dough.%20Reserve%20some%20chocolate%20chips%20for%20cookies'%20topping%20after%20baking.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECreate%20small%20drops%20of%20cookie%20dough%20using%20ice%20cream%20scoop%20or%20two%20spoons.%20Place%20them%20on%20lined%20baking%20trays.%20Make%20sure%20you%20give%20enough%20space%20for%20the%20'dropped'%20cookie%20balls%20on%20the%20trays%20as%20they%20will%20spread%20once%20they%20hit%20the%20hot%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20the%20cookies%20in%20the%20preheated%20oven%20for%2010-13%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20the%20cookies%20are%20out%20of%20the%20oven,%20immediately%20place%20some%20reserved%20chocolate%20chips%20on%20top%20of%20them.%20The%20cookies%20will%20look%20kind%20of%20soft%20when%20they%20are%20fresh%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20but%20they%20will%20firm%20up%20on%20the%20outside%20and%20slightly%20gooey%20on%20the%20inside%20when%20cold.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFancy%20some%20cookies?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20didn't%20have%20enough%20chocolate%20chips%20for%20my%20cookies%20today%20so%20I%20poured%20some%20chopped%20chocolates%20into%20the%20cookies%20dough.%20I%20think%20my%20cookies%20today%20tasted%20a%20tad%20too%20sweet%20because%20I%20used%20chopped%20chocolates%20more%20than%20the%20chocolate%20chips%20and%20didn't%20reduce%20the%20amount%20of%20sugar%20used%20in%20the%20cookies%20dough.%20Lesson%20learned,%20the%20next%20time%20I%20bake%20cookies%20again,%20I%20will%20use%20less%20sugar%20for%20my%20cookies%20dough%20when%20using%20lots%20of%20chopped%20chocolates.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyway,%20as%20I%20baked%20way%20too%20many%20cookies%20this%20evening,%20I%20gave%20some%20to%20my%20neighbour's%20kids%20for%20their%20sweet%20treats.%20I%20will%20do%20the%20same%20again%20to%20some%20other%20neighbours%20tomorrow;%20else%20my%20sugar%20level%20would%20hit%20the%20roof%20even%20before%20Christmas%20starts!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh,%20did%20I%20mention%20that%20Naomi%20was%20not%20napping%20when%20I%20was%20busy%20in%20the%20kitchen%20doing%20my%20cookies%20this%20afternoon?%20It%20was%20one%20chaotic%20baking%20session%20I%20tell%20you.%20Both%20hands%20well%20covered%20in%20cookie%20dough,%20big%20batch%20of%20cookie%20dough%20to%20bake,%20distracted%20mind,%20a%20mountain%20of%20dirty%20baking%20utensils%20in%20the%20sink%20plus%20clingy%20and%20whiny%20toddler,%20all%20at%20one%20time.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
