  • 1 pound (500 g) brown sugar
  • 1/4 pound (125 g) butter
  • pinch salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1/2 rounded teaspoon) cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1/2 rounded teaspoon) nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1/2 rounded teaspoon) cloves
