- Nonstick vegetable oil cooking spray
- 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons espresso powder
- 1 (19.8-ounce) box brownie mix (recommended: Duncan Hines)
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature

%20because%20it%20is%20only%20a%20three%20day%20work%20week.%20One%20of%20my%20students%20gave%20me%20a%20gift%20certificate%20to%20Starbucks%20with%20a%20to%20go%20mug..SCORE%E2%80%A6(is%20it%20that%20obvious%20I%20LOVE%20coffee??)%20Anyways,%20he%20made%20my%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20getting%20excited%20for%20Thursday%20and%20Friday.%20Thursday%20we%20do%20the%207%20fishes%20in%20traditional%20Italian%20style.%20It%20is%20my%20most%20favorite%20meal%20of%20the%20entire%20year!!%20I%20am%20mostly%20wrapped..except%20some%20of%20Danny%E2%80%99s%20presents%20but%20the%20rest%20are%20ready%20to%20go.%20My%20cheesecake%20is%20done%20and%20ready%20to%20bring%20to%20my%20mom%E2%80%99s%20and%20Danny%E2%80%99s%20family%E2%80%99s%20house.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20if%20you%20need%20a%20good%20pick%20me%20up%20or%20jolt%E2%80%A6or%20just%20love%20a%20good%20chocolaty%20brownie,%20than%20this%20is%20YOUR%20dessert.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGiada%20is%20my%20GO-TO%20girl%20for%20desserts%20for%20the%20holiday%20season.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20the%20glaze%20that%20I%20put%20over%20the%20brownies.%20Again,%20my%20stand%20mixer%20is%20my%20saving%20grace.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrownies%20glazed%20after%20they%20totally%20cooled.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMMM%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpray%20a%209%20by%2013-inch%20baking%20pan%20with%20nonstick%20spray.%20Whisk%201/3%20cup%20of%20water,%20oil,%20eggs,%20and%202%20tablespoons%20espresso%20powder%20in%20a%20large%20bowl%20to%20blend.%20Add%20the%20brownie%20mix.%20Stir%20until%20well%20blended.%20Stir%20in%20the%20chocolate%20chips.%20Transfer%20the%20batter%20to%20the%20prepared%20baking%20pan.%20Bake%20until%20a%20toothpick%20inserted%20into%20the%20center%20of%20the%20brownies%20comes%20out%20with%20a%20few%20moist%20crumbs%20attached,%20about%2035%20minutes.%20Cool%20completely.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMeanwhile,%20dissolve%20the%20remaining%202%20teaspoons%20of%20espresso%20powder%20in%20the%20remaining%202%20tablespoons%20of%20water%20in%20a%20medium%20bowl.%20Whisk%20in%20the%20vanilla.%20Add%20the%20powdered%20sugar%20and%20butter%20and%20whisk%20until%20smooth.%20Pour%20the%20glaze%20over%20the%20brownies.%20Refrigerate%20until%20the%20glaze%20is%20set.%20Cut%20into%20bite-size%20pieces.%20Arrange%20the%20brownies%20on%20a%20platter%20and%20serve.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHave%20a%20wonderful%20day!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edessert,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efood%20network,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Egiada,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eholidays%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
