Ingredients
- (recipe from Chocolate Covered Katie)
- 1 1/2 C cooked black beans (15 ounce can, drained and rinsed)
- 2 Tb cocoa powder
- 1/2 C oats
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 C agave
- 2 1/2 tsp Truvia
- 1/4 C coconut oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 C mini chocolate chips, plus a few more to sprinkle on top (you can sub in sugar free chips or vegan chips as desired)

%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20time%20had%20come%20to%20pull%20up%20my%20brave%20baker%20panties%20and%20give%20Black%20Bean%20Brownies%20a%20try.%20%20Heaven%20help%20me....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHOLY%20COW!%20%20These%20were%20amazing%20and%20I%20was%20nothing%20but%20furious%20with%20myself%20for%20not%20trying%20them%20ages%20ago%20when%20I%20first%20found%20the%20recipe.%20%20Fudgy,%20moist%20and%20oh,%20so%20chocolatey.%20%20Exactly%20what%20I%20needed%20but%20in%20a%20much%20healthier%20form%20than%20normal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20true%20test%20for%20my%20new%20brownies%20came%20at%203:30%20when%20my%20kiddos%20got%20home%20from%20school.%20%20All%20I%20said%20was%20that%20there%20was%20a%20special%20treat%20on%20the%20counter%20for%20them.%20%20After%20they%20each%20devoured%20their%20brownie,%20I%20told%20them%20about%20the%20black%20beans.%20%20My%2013%20year%20old%20son%20had%20a%20look%20of%20horror%20momentarily,%20but%20it%20was%20quickly%20replaced%20with%20a%20request%20for%20a%20second%20brownie.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20I%20can%20produce%20a%20brownie%20that%20is%20this%20healthy%20and%20still%20be%20so%20decadent%20at%20the%20same%20time,%20I%20say,%20bring%20on%20the%20black%20beans%20by%20the%20case%20full!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDecadent%20Black%20Bean%20Brownies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20%20Preheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20and%20lightly%20grease%20a%208x8%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20%20In%20a%20food%20processor,%20run%20the%20oats%20for%20about%20a%20minute%20until%20finely%20ground.%20%20Add%20all%20the%20remaining%20ingredients%20except%20for%20the%20chocolate%20chips.%20%20Run%20the%20processor%20for%20one%20minute,%20stopping%20half%20way%20through%20to%20scrape%20down%20the%20sides%20of%20the%20bowl.%20%20Remove%20the%20blade,%20then%20stir%20in%20the%20chocolate%20chips.%20%20Spread%20batter%20into%20your%20pan%20and%20bake%20for%2018%20minutes.%20%20Cool%20at%20least%2015%20minutes%20before%20cutting%20into%20the%20pan.%20%20I%20think%20they%20are%20best%20after%20they%20have%20chilled%20in%20the%20fridge!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
