This is a super kid friendly dish. We make it when we have left over hot dogs. It's good plain or add a little cheese to it. It's a good weekend breakfast if you have leftover hot dogs to use up. We sometimes have it the night after we had hot dogs , breakfast for dinner.
Ingredients
- Left over hot dogs, sliced
- 6-8 eggs, beaten (more or less depending on the amount you are making)
- salt and pepper
- opt topping cheese, salsa or ketchup.
Directions
- In a large skillet, melt a little butter and saute the hot dogs for a minute or two to warm then up.
- In a bowl beat eggs, add salt and pepper and pour over hot dogs
- Scramble eggs as you normally would adding cheese (if using) toward the end on cooking.
