Ingredients

  • 1 pound top round steak
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 2 to 3 tbsp. diced onions
  • 1 diced clove garlic
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp. water

Directions

  1. Brown steak strips in 2 Tbsp. warm oil. Quickly add in vegetables and consomme, cover and simmer about 10 min. Add in soy sauce. Combine the water and cornstarch and add in it to thicken the liquid, simmer till thickened. Serve over warm rice.
