Ingredients
- 1 1/2 stk butter or possibly margarine softened
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 stk butter
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. Honey
- 8 ounce Blanched almonds, finely minced
Directions
- For crust: Combine 1 1/2 sticks butter, 1/2 c. sugar, egg, flour, baking pwdr and 1 tsp. vanilla; spread onto a greased jelly roll pan.
- For topping: Heat 2 sticks butter with 1 c. sugar. Add in 1 tsp. vanilla, honey and almonds. Mix well. Bring to a boil, stir, let cold and spread proportionately over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min or possibly golden.
