Ingredients
- Garlic Olive Oil (or just smush a garlic clove in some olive oil and let it sit for a bit; drain and use the oil)
- 2 cups Mexican blend cheese
- 1/4 to 1/2 red onion, sliced thin
- 1 large jalapeno pepper, membrane and seeds removed
- 6 slices thick cut bacon, cooked til not quite crisp and drained
- 4 ozs cream cheese, cut into cubes and rolled into balls about 3/4" diameter

%20surprise.%20When%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20it%20again%20last%20week%20after%20a%20long%20lapse,%20I%20was%20reminded%20of%20how%20fantastic%20this%20dish%20is,%20how%20much%20my%20photos%20needed%20an%20upgrade%20and%20how%20I%20thought%20lots%20of%20new%20readers%20might%20appreciate%20it%20if%20I%20posted%20it%20again.%20I%E2%80%99ve%20learned%20a%20few%20things%20too;%20for%20instance%20I%20add%20the%20cream%20cheese%20dollops%20midway%20through%20baking%20to%20ward%20against%20melting%20too%20much%20because%20I%20like%20them%20as%20is;%20but%20it%E2%80%99s%20funny%20that%20Emily%20preferred%20smearing%20the%20dollops%20over%20her%20slices%20when%20we%20were%20at%20the%20restaurant.%20To%20each%20their%20own%20right?%20I%20guess%20that%E2%80%99s%20a%20component%20you%20can%20play%20with%20to%20get%20your%20perfect%20result!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20of%20the%20things%20that%20Dads%20and%20Dudes%20is%20most%20proud%20of,%20and%20rightly%20so,%20is%20their%20pizza%20dough.%20It%20was%20pretty%20perfect%20with%20some%20remnants%20of%20their%20beer%20making%20included%20in%20the%20process%20but%20for%20those%20of%20us%20making%20it%20at%20home,%20use%20whatever%20is%20your%20favorite%20recipe%20or%20packaged%20product.%20I%20like%20a%20pizza%20dough%20that%20I%20get%20at%20the%20local%20Tony%E2%80%99s%20Market;%20it%E2%80%99s%20made%20by%20the%20Il%20Fornaio%20Restaurant%20group%20and%20available%20as%20either%20white%20or%20wheat%20dough.%20Some%20pizza%20shops%20will%20also%20sell%20balls%20of%20their%20dough%20to%20consumers%E2%80%A6hmm,%20now%20wondering%20if%20the%20guys%20do%20that;%20I%E2%80%99ll%20have%20to%20do%20some%20more%20homework%20won%E2%80%99t%20I?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnother%20of%20those%20days%20when%20I%20wish%20I%20could%20pull%20my%20sweet%20neighbor%20Karen%20into%20the%2021st%20century;%20she%20does%20not%20go%20online,%20period.%20I%20have%20threatened%20to%20teach%20her%20how%E2%80%A6and%20right%20now%20that%20would%20be%20a%20very%20good%20thing;%20she%20could%20make%20her%20comments%20here%20too.%20But%20wait%E2%80%A6not%20sure%20how%20she%20would%20write%20%E2%80%98Um,%20so%20good!%E2%80%99%20adequately;%20it%20was%20said%20with%20a%20mouthful%20of%E2%80%A6my%20new%20best%20pizza%20EVER!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20can%E2%80%99t%20wait%20to%20try%20another%20of%20the%20pizzas%20at%20Dads%20and%20Dudes;%20thinking%20the%20Besto%20Pesto%20is%20next%20in%20line.%20You%20coming%20with?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBarbServes%206-8%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBacon,%20Jalapeno,%20Red%20Onion%20and%20Cream%20Cheese%20Pizza%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E20%20minPrep%20Time%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E20%20minCook%20Time%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E40%20minTotal%20Time%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESave%20Recipe%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPizza%20dough%20for%20one%20crust%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20425%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWork%20your%20pizza%20dough%20into%20a%20greased%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrush%20the%20surface%20of%20the%20pizza%20with%20the%20garlic%20olive%20oil.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EScatter%20the%20shredded%20cheese%20all%20over.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EScatter%20the%20red%20onion,%20jalapeno%20pepper%20and%20bacon%20on%20top%20of%20the%20cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%2010%20minutes%20and%20then%20remove%20from%20the%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDot%20the%20surface%20with%20the%20cream%20cheese%20balls%20and%20return%20the%20pizza%20to%20the%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%20an%20additional%2010%20minutes%20or%20until%20crust%20is%20lightly%20brown.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENotes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECream%20cheese%20and%20ovens%20vary;%20if%20your%20cheese%20has%20not%20browned%20enough,%20just%20pass%20it%20under%20the%20broiler%20for%20a%20minute%20although%20I've%20found%20that%20even%20if%20not%20perfectly%20browned%20the%20time%20in%20the%20oven%20is%20enough%20for%20it%20to%20get%20warmed;%20that's%20what%20really%20matters!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E6.3%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehttp://www.creative-culinary.com/bacon-jalapeno-and-cream-cheese-pizza/%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
