Wet Burritos

Ingredients

  • 1 med. onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 (28 ounce.) can tomato sauce
  • 1-3 tbsp. chili pwdr (depending on your taste) -- I use 2
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2-4 tbsp. sugar

Directions

  1. Saute/fry onion and garlic in oil till limp. Add in tomato sauce. Then add in chili pwdr, cumin, oregano and salt. Stir in sugar to your taste. (I use quite a bit--sufficient to take the sharp taste out, but not sufficient to actually taste sweet.) Simmer about 1/2 hour.
