- 1 pound spinach, cleaned, trimmed, and coarsely chopped
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can water chestnuts. coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 6 ounces cream cheese
- 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 4 dashes hot sauce, such as Tabasco or Sriracha (use more if you want a spicier dip)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- Baguette slices, breadsticks, or crackers, for serving
