Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. veal cutlets, cut into cubes
  • Butter to brown
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream (low fat)
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp. fresh chopped onion

Directions

  1. Brown veal in butter and place in a casserole. Cover. Add in 3 Tbsp. water to frying pan. Blend in flour, stir till smooth. Slowly add in lowfat sour cream, stirring constantly. When thick, add in seasonings and mushrooms that have been fried gently in butter. Pour over veal. Bake in very slow oven (300 to 325 degrees) for one hour.
