Ingredients

  • 100g (7 tbsp) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 500g (4 scant cups) all-purpose (plain) flour
  • 1 x 7g sachet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 60g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
  • 240ml (1 cup) milk
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 200g (3/4 cup) strawberry jam
  • Glaze
  • 250g (2 cups) powdered (icing) sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 – 4 tbsp water
